Chronic Disease and Anxiety

Duncaster CCRC - Monday, October 22, 2018

BLOOMFIELD, CT, Oct. 22, 2019 – Duncaster is hosting a program about understanding the underlying causes and coping strategies of chronic disease and anxiety. The discussion will be held on Thursday, November 15 at 3 p.m. It is a part of Duncaster’s monthly series, “The Art and Science of Graceful Aging.”This program will take place on Duncaster’s campus, located at 40 Loeffler Road. The event is open to the public, however pre-registration is required.

AnxietyLaurel Reagan, APRN Director of Behavioral Health, will lead the discussion.She is a part of the Hartford Hospital Behavioral Health Home Care program. Chronic disease is not only characterized by ongoing, debilitating physical problems but can be augmented by anxiety, depression and isolation. The program will include a discussion of ways to manage all aspects of chronic disease.
